In 2025 Tx Bar achieved accreditation by HDAA to the National Safety and Primary Care Healthcare standards.

What does accreditation mean?

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare develops National safety and quality standards to achieve safe, high quality care within our healthcare services.

In Australia it is not mandated for cosmetic clinics to be accredited to National Standards. Currently in Australia accreditation to National Standards is mandated for hospitals and other healthcare services like Dentists.

This process assesses every aspect of how a clinic operates including:

  • Infection control
  • Medication storage
  • Staff training
  • Governance
  • Emergency response readiness

It ensures that patients receive care that is safe, consistent, and aligned with national best practice standards.

Why has Tx Bar chosen to become accredited?

Tx Bar has elected to undergo voluntary accreditation against the NSQPCH standards through HDAA, we strongly believe in provide high quality safe care to our patients and value the opportunity to be assessed under the rigorous requirements. Patients receiving care at Tx Bar can be reassured they’re receiving care in a clinic that values patient safety and quality improvement.

Quality Improvement Activities

At TX Bar we are always looking for ways to improve the safety, experience and quality of the care we provide our patients. Each year we undergo a number of quality improvement activities that help us measure the impact we are having on care delivery.

Our most recent improvements include:

  • New electric treatment chairs aimed at improving accessibility for mobility impaired patients and reduce injury risk for our team.
  • Restructuring of our consent and aftercare forms: We collaborated with a group of TX Bar patients to revise our documentation and information, ensuring it clearly highlights what matters most to them – including simplifying language and removing unnecessary medical jargon.
