Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is the process in which a small sample of blood is collected and centrifugal force is used to extract the body's own platelet rich plasma. Which is then infused back into treatable areas. Common PRP areas include the hairline, scalp, face, neck and areas where scarring is present.

Please acknowledge that PRP is a medical procedure performed by our Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioner at our Geelong clinic. Due to the nature of this procedure, a clinical consultation is required to determine if PRP is appropriate for you.

This is Pinpoint Bleeding 🩸

Pinpoint bleeding is the tiny droplets of blood that appear on the surface of the skin during a Skin Needling treatment. This occurs when the fine needles of the Skin Pen device reach the upper dermis and briefly contact the small capillaries.

Pinpoint bleeding is a normal and controlled response that signals the skin’s natural wound healing process has been activated. The healing response stimulates collagen and elastin production helping improve the skin's texture, firmness and overall appearance.

Not every client will experience pinpoint bleeding and its absence does not mean the treatment has been less effective.
