Tx Bar is proud to offer a new cosmetic medical treatment designed to support skin health and improve the appearance of early signs of ageing. Bio-remodelling is now available following a mandatory consultation and scripting process with our Nurse Practitioner, in accordance with current AHPRA and Medical Board of Australia guidelines.

If you’re beginning to notice changes in skin hydration, firmness or texture, this treatment may be suitable for you as part of a personalised treatment plan.

What Is Bio-Remodelling?

Bio-remodelling is a non-surgical injectable procedure that uses a purified form of hyaluronic acid (HA) to support the skin’s natural regeneration processes. This treatment differs from traditional dermal fillers by promoting collagen and elastin stimulation rather than adding volume.

As our skin ages, its natural stores of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid decline. These changes can lead to visible concerns such as crepiness, reduced elasticity, and dryness. Bio-remodelling may assist in improving skin texture and hydration by encouraging your body’s natural processes.

📌 This treatment is not designed to volumise or lift the face but may support overall skin quality and integrity.

How Is It Different From Volumising Treatments?

While both bio-remodelling and dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid, they work in different ways:

• Dermal fillers have a thicker gel consistency and are designed to restore lost volume and enhance facial contours.

• Bio-remodelling uses a more fluid form of HA that spreads beneath the skin to improve hydration and stimulate collagen and elastin production.

These treatments may sometimes be used in combination to address different aspects of facial ageing. Your practitioner will advise what is clinically appropriate for you.

What to Expect from Treatment

• The treatment involves a series of small injections at specific sites, usually performed over two sessions spaced approximately four weeks apart.

• Following treatment, a topical skincare product may be provided to support hydration and enhance the skin’s glow.

• Results vary between individuals and are generally visible over time as the body responds.

Who May Be Suitable?

Bio-remodelling may be suitable for clients who are:

• Experiencing early signs of skin ageing

• Concerned about fine lines, crepiness or skin laxity

• Seeking to support hydration and skin quality

Many people begin noticing these concerns in their 30s, though this can vary based on lifestyle, skin type, and environmental exposure.

Who Should Not Receive This Treatment?

Bio-remodelling is not suitable for:

• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding

• Individuals with active skin infections or inflammatory conditions at the treatment site

• Those with a known allergy to hyaluronic acid or any ingredients in the product

A full consultation is required to assess suitability, discuss potential risks, and answer any questions before any treatment is prescribed.

Mandatory Consultation with Nurse Practitioner

Under AHPRA and Medical Board of Australia guidelines, all cosmetic injectable treatments must begin with a face-to-face consultation with a suitably qualified medical professional. At Tx Bar, this consultation is performed by our Nurse Practitioner, who will assess your suitability, provide treatment options, and script any prescribed product if appropriate.
