One of our most popular treatments during winter is the SRA (Skin Rejuvenation Advanced) treatment using the Syneron-Candela IPL + RF platform.

What is SRA?

SRA is a powerful combination of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and Radio Frequency (RF) technology, designed to target multiple skin concerns in one treatment. This dual-modality system allows for highly effective treatment of:

  • Sun damage

  • Pigmentation

  • Freckles

  • Redness and broken capillaries

  • Uneven skin tone and texture

The treatment works by delivering focused energy to the deeper layers of the skin. Pigmented cells absorb the light energy, causing them to fragment and naturally exfoliate over time. Is SRA Comfortable?

SRA is generally well tolerated. Most clients describe the sensation as a quick snap or flick, similar to an elastic band. The integrated cooling tip on the SRA handpiece helps minimise discomfort both during and after treatment.

You may experience:

  • Mild warmth or redness (similar to a sunburn sensation) for 12–24 hours

  • Temporary darkening of pigment (3–7 days), which will naturally exfoliate away
